Pho Binh in Lake City
This week we (Tim, Eli, & Les) patronized Pho Binh on Lake City Way in Seattle. The have a very good selection of all things Vietnamese. I went with a small pho with meats and seafood, and it was good. Some of the topics for this week:
- Multiplayer tetris
- Pacman with guns
- Grand Theft Auto
- My name is Bruce
- Game mashups
- Watchmen at Imax
- Alien vs Predator: Requiem

1 Comments:
In My Bowl: Vegetable Pho with Tofu and Chicken - lots of chili sauce, lime, basil and sprouts!
* The rice noodles were especially good and quite tender.
* I found the broth to be relatively good, but nothing spectacular.
In My Glass: Cafe Sua Da
* Quite tasty, but came pre-mixed with the condensed milk - I suppose I just enjoy watching the dark coffee drip over the thick puck of condensed milk.
In My Mind: Korean soundtrack composers, graphic novels, video game design, potential: XBox purchase (or wait for next Gen) or home-built i7 system.
* Byeong Woo Lee ("The Host", "A Tale Of Two Sisters")
* A series of ideas mulling around in my head: one original short story, one compilation of short stories based on actual events of another storyteller, two full-length original graphic novels, another full-length graphic novel based on another's story.
* Some pre-visualizations on building a complex, multi-platform, multiplayer game and/or game engine.
* Lately been thinking about completing my original Farancia worlds and conjoining areas for StrangeMUD - although very few people continue to play the game everything just seems incomplete to me.
In The Air: The smell of pho, Emerald City ComiCon (I'll probably head down on at least one of the two days - likely the 4th), Southland Tales (albeit strange, somewhat interesting story & concept), XNA, Chess via Email, anything else?...don't remember...and that was only four hours ago!
